nike + transformers 2

Nike Basketball has collaborated with Hasbro’s Transformers II movie to release a pack of three shoes that will feature various logos from the Transformers. The first shoe from the pack is inspired by Bumblebee, the Yellow Transformer who protects Sam Witwicky in the new Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen movie. The best part about this Nike Basketball x Transformers II Pack is that not only do the shoe’s come with various Transformers logos on them but the shoeboxes that the shoe’s come in. The shoe boxes were designed to look similar to the boxes that the Hasbro Transformers toys come in. Each box features images of the Transformer the shoe was inspired by as well as some of the Transformer’s features. Look for the Nike Basketball x Transformers II Pack to hit the Footlocker House of Hoops in the upcoming weeks. Via Sneaker News
concepts x nike sb dunk blue lobster

“The Blue Lobster Dunk serves as the sequel to last summer’s original Lobster Dunk, a Nike SB that first made waves on May 31, 2008. This time around, it’s dangerous! The “Blue Lobster” is a dangerous sub-breed of violent crustaceans that have been wrecking havoc on the otherwise tranquil waters of New England. Priced at $250.00 usd, the actual Blue Lobster sneaker will be bagged, tagged and sealed in a HAZMAT foam container. Each pair will be joined by an official Nike SB tee shirt, hang tag and lace lock. The first 200 pairs will come with 1 of 2 Concepts x Alien Workshop skate decks.” Via Lovely Package
nike air max 2009 + black – grey – gold

With all the attention on Nike’s Air Max 1 retros this summer, their flagship model might be easy to overlook. Then again, with a design like this, no one’s likely to miss the Nike Air Max+ 2009. This edition comes in a black and grey palette that smoothly blends the two colours across its Flywire-equipped side panels. Toss in a bit of gold on the Swooshes and tongue and these are a clear winner. Via Sneaker News
reebok pump – 7 deadly sins

As if inspirations behind sneakers were not unique enough, Reebok will be turning to the seven deadly sins for inspiration for their latest pack composed of three colorways of the Pump Omni Lite. The first colorway, which is meant to represent greed, hosts a tonal yellow upper, while the second pair, which is meant to represent sloth, features a tonal azure style. The final sneaker from this pack yields a full purple Pump Onni Lite and represents pride. nike af1 premium – un michael lau

Nike will be releasing this upcoming Air Force 1 Low Premium as a part of the Fall 2009 Collection from Nike Sportswear. While the colorway is simple, White upper and Gum outsole, it’s the pattern stitched on the upper that makes this White Air Force 1 so appealing. We’re dubbing this Air Force 1 Low the “Un Michael Lau” due to the astounding resemblance to the Nike x Michael Lau 1World “Crazy” Air Force 1. The upper of this “Un Michael Lau” AF1 features a intricate woven pattern that looks similar to the one used on the Michael Lau AF1. The Gum outsole used on this Air Force 1 should be well received by a number of AF1 fans as that’s something that is always asked for. Look for these to drop soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers. nike women’s af1 premium – black – swan – polka dot

While some sneakerheads have been turning their back on the most popular sneaker of our time, the Air Force 1 by Nike has stood as a test of time, and more recently the colors that Nike has released for Women’s have been as good as the Men’s if not better. This new release of the Nike Women’s Air Force 1 comes in a Premium version that uses a Polka Dot patterned patent leather upper in Black and Swan. One of the more interesting treatments we’ve seen done to the Air Force 1, this will be one of the must have WMNS AF1’s of 2009. Via Sneaker News
nike air max 97 lux le

The Air Max 97 is given an almost artsy remake with this Lux LE release. The all black upper is given grey brush stroke like accents that add a great counter to the mesh and rubber used on the construction. Also playing against the wrap around visible air sole we have a translucent outsole with the brush stroke pattern repeated and kept in plain view. And as all other Air Max 97’s it has 3M technology laced throughout. Via Kicksonfire.
nike livestrong + mr. cartoon

To be honest, I was getting real tired of the Nike Livestrong kicks. It seemed liked a new pair was being released everyday. Eventually, I decided to ignore them. As my attention span for the yellow was operating at .05%, Mr. Cartoon got involved and now I’m back on board. These kicks are fresh.
From Freshness: This Nike x Mr. Cartoon Air Force 1 was originally given to friends and family of Mr. Cartoon and never released to the public, the shoes have since gone for upwards of $3,000 to sneaker connoisseurs. Now Mr. Cartoon has reworked the original shoe and will incorporate the same laser technology that he used on the original which reflects Cartoon’s city of origin.
